But time and effort from CD Projekt Redis paying off due to the latest patch, 1.5. Now, players are finally having a change of heart, as Cyberpunk 2077 has become one of the top ten most played on Xbox. It’s a great time for players to go back and explore what Night City has to offer. One of the best aspects of Cyberpunk 2077 is that it encourages players to explore — and who knows what players will find while looking for these stunning-looking spots? It does become rewarding for players to go out of their way.

Updated October 6, 2022, By Raza Malik: As of late, every time Cyberpunk 2077 is in the news, it’s because of how far the game has come. From being ridiculed over its state at launch, causing developers to rework the entire game, to becoming a success story in the span of a few short years. And, thanks to the latest anime to drop called Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting even bigger, and for good reason. Because of that, players new and old can revisit or explore areas of Night City that make Cyberpunk 2077 a beautiful-looking game. Since the release of patch 1.6 in the summer of 2022, the game has found new life. With even more things to do, the update allows players to spend more time with Cyberpunk 2077, and, in turn, can make them stumble onto some great-looking places in the game. Since it now has fewer crashes and plays the way the developers intended it to be played, going to these areas will be far more immersive, making Cyberpunk 2077 a one-of-a-kind experience.

10 City Center

The city center is probably one of the most concentrated spots in Night City, where it feels like it’s in a world of its own. Since Night City is split up into distinct regions, this area mixes it all together. While it does feel like every other part of the inner Night City, what separates City Centre from the rest is its architecture. The sharp, but massive megabuildings, that seem to go on forever really help the scope of the city to hit home with players. On top of that, City Center has a lot of distinct areas within it as well. The bars make up one side, as do the office blocks, which showcase how massive and self-contained this area is.

Also, City Center is probably the most straight-cut part of the city, meaning the roads, and sidewalks are all in straight lines, which highlights how symmetrical the game is. Plus, Cyberpunk 2077makes things harder for players who don’t do any of the side quests, City Center is a somewhat high-level area. Even though players will want to go there because of how dense it is, they should do several quests in order to safely navigate this region.

9 Corpo Plaza

Located within City Center, Corpo Plaza shows off the business side of Night City. Even though there are megabuildings located throughout the city, Corpo Plaza is where most of the big ones are, and the ones players can see from out in the Badlands. While this area is a staple for any futuristic world set in a dystopian future, Corpo Plaza still has things that make it stand out from the rest. By taking the best elements of the other regions and putting them all in one spot, players can get a snapshot of what Night City is like.

Since Cyberpunk 2077 has a photo mode that stands out from its peers and gives players tons of freedom and choices with how they take pictures. Corpo Plaza highlights that, since the photo mode gives complete control to players, they can be just as creative with their shots because Copro Plaza is a diverse place. The eeriness of these buildings, plus the overwhelming feeling of the population in one spot, showcases how big the world is for players, which helps players understand how massive this world is.

8 Springboard

Springboard is probably one of the most unique areas in Cyberpunk 2077 since a lot of the Badlands don’t stand out much because it’s all flat land with a few rolling hills scattered throughout, so when players find something in the outer regions, it’s a bigger deal. The reason why this is such a beautiful location is that as mentioned before: it stands out from a lot of the other regions. While City Center shows how massive Night City is, Springboard shows how vast the world of Cyberpunk 2077 can be.

When players reach this point, they’ll see how wide open the area is, and, at night, it’s even better. Because they can see the lights coming out of Night City from a really far-off distance, players can start to get a feel for how big everything actually is. Plus, it also shows how diverse Cyberpunk 2077 can be, by giving players the concrete jungle in Night City and this open vast space in the Badlands, which provide different gameplay opportunities as well.

7 The North Oak Sign

Much like the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, players can go and visit this iconic location in Night City. However, unlike the Hollywood sign, the players can climb it. What makes this a go-to destination for players is that it shows off the beauty of the game from a height, and also lets players see the best parts of the city from a distance. It’s a great way of showing how the areas surrounding are very different, but, when they meet, they fluidly mix into one another.

Plus, if players head there whenever the sun starts to set, the city gives off a different feeling and also helps players get the energy of the city, unlike many other areas in the game. It’s probably the place that stands out most because players can see a lot of Night City from here, and it gives them a clear view of the important parts like the mega buildings in City Center.

6 Reconciliation Park

One of the reasons why Cyberpunk 2077 has sold really well is because of how much attention the developers have put into creating Night City, as evidenced by places like Reconciliation Park. Since Night City is full of metal, steel, and other man-made things, this park stands out, and since it’s located near Corpo Plaza, players will get hit with how different this park is from the rest of the areas in the game. Night City has trees, not a lot, but it does have them. This park adds the greenery of the game into one spot though, so when players go there, they’ll be overwhelmed by the color pallet change.

However, Reconciliation Park is tucked away neatly, meaning many players probably won’t find it on their first playthrough. Once they do though, the park makes Cyberpunk 2077 feel like a completely different game. That’s a good thing because rather than the chaotic energy of Night City, players will get the calmness of nature, which can help slow things down a little. All the lush trees around and the pools of water located throughout make this area a visually stunning region in Cyberpunk 2077. What’s more, if players spend a lot of time in the park, they may well uncover some secrets that are hidden away in some pretty neat ways.

5 North Side Shipyard

This is probably the most out there for recommendations. Since Night City has a ton of visual appeal, the North Side Shipyard does that as well on its own terms. During the daytime, players can take their vehicles (or rather a bike) and blaze down the straightaway in the shipyard to achieve top speed. At that speed, players can utilize the photo mode to make for some very cool shots with the shipyard complementing it.

At night, the shipyard feels different. The neon glow of the shop’s signs and the other lights coming out of it make the entire yard feel like it’s not only something else but also somewhere else. The story doesn’t take players there, but rather around the shipyard. Players making their way to the shipyard will be welcomed by the people in shipping containers, which gives the area a different feel from the rest of Night City. Much of Night City is in line with the current times of Cyberpunk 2077, but the shipyard has a unique sense of beauty and that makes it stand out more.

4 Arasaka Waterfront

Probably the most futuristic location in Cyberpunk 2077, this high-tech building shows the contrast between it and Night City. Where the world is still on the cusp of the future, the Arasaka Waterfront is already there. On top of that, the industrial atmosphere it gives off isn’t unique, but it’s not a common thing within the game. Players should go to the waterfront as soon as they can because it shows off the many faces of Night City.

But what’s most compelling in this location is the calmness that is very rare throughout the city. The lack of energy shows off how diverse the city can be. Players can look on and see the hustle and bustle of Night City from a distance while taking in the serenity of the waterfront. Other open-world games have distinct areas; however, those games tend to be more spaced out, so players can’t compare areas as well. Since Night City is so condensed and packed in, players will immediately get different feelings between each section.

3 Jig Jig Street

This area in Night City is probably one of the best to show off the best of what Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer, with the neon lights and heavily packed areas. Players can witness the fine details of the game, like how NPCs interact with one another, and the signs to the shops give off the exact energy Cyberpunk 2077 is conveying. It’s not just good for sights, either. Jig Jig Street is home to some interesting side quests with high rewards, so players should go there as much as they can.

On top of that, it’s a good place to go if players are looking for a rip doctor for modifications, which they can use to install some unique mods. This makes Jig Jig Street so compelling, players will be coming back not just because they need to, but also because of how detailed it is and how it shows the best performance aspects of Cyberpunk 2077. Since the new patch dropped, Jig Jig Street looks even more alive. Players will probably spend a lot of time in this area looking at just how detailed it is.

2 Charter Hill Skyway

Most players will miss this spot unless they search for it. Located in the middle of Charter Hill, this skyway looks to be unapproachable at first, but players who search for a way up will be rewarded with one of the best locations for vistas. The skyway itself is quite high up, so players will be able to take in a lot of not just Charter Hill, but the expanding skyline surrounding them. The best part is that it’s neatly tucked away; the population density in the area is quite low, which means players will find it more peaceful than most other locations.

Much like Jig Jig Street, Charter Hill is neatly packed in, which means that even though there are fewer NPCs, it feels like it’s heavily populated. Because of that, players can see how each NPC behaves differently and how they engage with the player themselves. Using the photo mode, players can spend a lot of time taking pictures, because Charter Hill highlights some cool aspects of Cyberpunk 2077. Even though the city isn’t real, it still makes the player feel smaller in the way big cities do, where other open-world games don’t often achieve this.

1 The Interstate

The highway featured in Cyberpunk 2077 has its own way of showcasing the beauty of the world. By connecting it all together, players should take a car (preferably a rather fast one), which will allow them to drive at top speed and jump around from location to location. What makes the interstate so appealing is that it puts players on a path that may reward them in end by giving them an item or a mission. Since players will spend a lot of time driving on it, taking in the sights will come automatically.

While on the interstate, players will notice the many skylines in Cyberpunk 2077, and much like other open-world games, players will note other areas where they can go. Another interesting part about the interstate is that while other locations require the players to go there, the interstate has vistas and amazing scenery that appear as players drive along. Using photo mode when the sun starts to set is something that’s pretty much unique for the interstate.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Stadia.
