As new and returning players are looking to see if Cyberpunk 2077 truly has changed for the better, they’re first having to create their version of V. As in many games with RPG and open-world elements, a character creator is available for those who want to make their own distinct protagonist in a gaming world. Often, these character creators can lead to players having fun with the character they want to make, from a Skyrim player creating Patrick Bateman to an Elden Ring player placing Darth Maul in a fantasy setting.

Rarely though, do gamers make a likeness accidentally. This was the case for Reddit user Torrdin, who accidentally made what they termed an “uncanny valley Hugh Jackman.” Both the Cyberpunk 2077 character and the Wolverine actor do hold some resemblance, with Jackman’s signature stubble appearing on the character. Some Reddit users in the comments believed that the character was a combination of real-life people though, with one comment saying the character looked like “Hugh Jackman, as played by Andrew Garfield channeling Joel McHale.”
Whether the Cyberpunk 2077 character is a perfect portrayal of Hugh Jackman or not, there’s certainly a bit of resemblance there. At least, there’s enough for one comment to say that the player should use a Mantis Blade build with this character, truly channeling the Wolverine energy. Playing a Mantis Blade build in Cyberpunk 2077, which allows a player to wield blades in their arms, could be the perfect replacement while fans wait for Insomniac’s Wolverine videogame.
Besides an accidental Hugh Jackman, Cyberpunk 2077 players have been making some interesting and cool characters in the game. One player managed to make Ciri from CD Projekt Red’s other popular RPG, The Witcher 3. Another fan again chose to make a Cyberpunk crossover with another game, creating Aloy from the Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West games.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
