On Twitter, CD Projekt RED boss Adam Badowski revealed that the developer has sent Cyberpunk 2077 to be age rated at boards such as the ESRB and PEGI. The age rating boards could leak a few more details about the game before it’s released in September. New PS4 and Nintendo Switch games have been leaked by a rating board in the past, and the ESRB rating for The Last of Us Part Two confirmed details about the game.

Badowski also said that the development team is now “polishing technical aspects and playtesting” Cyberpunk 2077. The game is “looking better and better with each passing day,” said Badowski. This is wonderful for fans who had concerns that the game could potentially be delayed again. It has been years since Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced, but it increasingly looks like it’s going to be ready for September.
Fans also hope that CD Projekt RED will soon be ready to reveal more Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. The developer has confirmed several features about the game, such as some of its different weapons and missions, but fans want to know more about characters and what Night City will offer them.
Some are looking for more information about the confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X release. CD Projekt RED has said that it wants to release the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game first, but if things are going well with development, it may be ready to share more.
The developer could potentially share more about Cyberpunk 2077 at the Xbox Series X event on March 18. That hasn’t been confirmed but if the game is nearly ready for release, this could be a good way for CD Projekt RED to show fans the game again.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases September 17 on GeForce Now, PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with an Xbox Series X version also in development.
