While Cyberpunk 2077 might have been marred by numerous bugs and performance issues at launch, there were aspects of the game that players enjoyed. For instance, many gamers liked the characters in Cyberpunk 2077. Besides the main characters, the game includes a variety of characters with supporting roles that help make the world feel alive. Misty Olszewski is one of these side characters seen in Cyberpunk 2077, and she has a distinctive look, which one gamer thinks looks similar to an upcoming skin for Kiriko in Overwatch 2.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Sidem0n shared a split image that contained a picture of Kiriko from Overwatch 2 and Misty from Cyberpunk 2077. Specifically, this post included the new skin design for Kiriko being released sometime during Season 2. According to the Reddit user, they believed this upcoming skin for the support hero had a very similar appearance to Misty’s. After looking at the images, it is not hard to see what the gamer pointed out. Some similarities between the two designs included the same haircut and purple clothing. Furthermore, even their facial expression seemed similar.

While Sidem0n posted the comment about the two characters, they were not the only ones to notice a resemblance. With several hundred upvotes already, many gamers seem to have thought the same. Among the comments, one gamer noted how it was interesting that this type of skin would come a season after the cyberpunk-themed one for Overwatch 2. In addition to Misty, some other gamers on social media, such as pro player Danteh, have suggested that the character looks like Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series.

This buzz about a new Kiriko skin comes as Blizzard prepares to launch Season 2 of Overwatch 2 in only a few more days. Besides this Goth-inspired skin for the support hero, Genji is also getting a similarly themed makeover. While these skins are likely not in the Season 2 battle pass, the developer is introducing a number of Overwatch 2 skins themed around Greek mythology that are included. These are Mythic Zeus Junker Queen, Legendary Poseidon Ramattra, and Legendary Hades Pharah.

Overwatch 2 is available in early access for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
