One of the main things about fixing the rebalancing is how the weapon attachment behaves. These changes have made a positive impact on Cyberpunk 2077 because now players can easily fight back without the jarring performance issues of certain weapons due to the attachments. This list should give players a better idea of what the best attachments are post-patch 1.5 and how they make the weapons better.
Updated October 12th, 2022, by Raza Malik: Thanks to many things over the last few months, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone through changes for the better. Being playable, and the fact that almost all the bugs have disappeared has made the player base skyrocket. Plus, with the new anime which dropped on Netflix Cyberpunk Edgerunners, introduced a bunch of new things in the game, and has sparked interest between new and old players. With patch 1.6 that dropped earlier, many things have changed, meaning certain weapons, attachments, and cyberware are now better than what they used to be.
This allows players to try out new things, which in turn, can give them a different experience. As mentioned before, attachments are one of the things that have changed, the stats of some less popular ones are now different, and can make gameplay a lot more dynamic. Since Cyberpunk 2077 is constantly updating, things may change over time, however for the time being these are the best attachments players can get in the game.
10 Jue Scope
Cyberpunk 2077 has many ways to play, players can run with loud guns blazing, or they can use their cyberware to make taking down enemies a more creative experience. However, one of the better ways to play is using a sniper rifle, one with an amazing scope that can help the player’s accuracy. In this case, it is the Jue Scope, which is a long-range digital scope that makes players get headshots more often than not. And when they do that, Cyberpunk 2077, becomes very fluid and the sniping becomes easier, just like the other sniper scopes in this list.
However, players who use this scope should primarily fight from a rather far distance, because the aim down sights time is slower than most other scopes in its class. If they use the Jue Scope, players will be shooting mostly at a distance, which makes the most sense for this type of scope. With its range being rather long, makes Jue one of the best scopes for players to get in Cyberpunk 2077. The best part is that it’s quite simple to get since it can be bought from Robert Wilson, only after players have done the Shoot To Thrill side mission.
9 RC-7 Liger Muzzle
Some attachments that players put on their weapons won’t notice their effect at all unless they read what they do. Muzzles are one of those attachments, they may not see how they act, however, gameplay will change and make things better. The RC-7 Muzzle just does that, players will notice how fluid their shooting becomes since it can go only with pistols and revolvers. Since Cyberpunk 2077 has some of the best dismemberments of enemies in gaming, this muzzle helps players achieve that so much easier. Not only do ricochet shots become fluid, but players can shoot at the limbs of enemies, which makes gunplay really fun and over the top.
Since Cyberpunk 2077 has some very powerful pistols, the accuracy, and the ricochet shots make players a threat to all classes of enemies in Cyberpunk 2077. As mentioned before, since the RC-7 Muzzle can be put on pistols and revolvers, players can down more enemies quicker and more often, because those types of weapons are the fastest-ranged weapons players can get in Cyberpunk 2077. To get this muzzle, players can buy it from Rober Wilson in the megabuilding, but won’t be in his inventory all the time.
8 E255 Percipient Scope
Cyberpunk 2077 has a ton of places where firefights can happen because Night City is a very diverse world, and they show how different enemies fight in different situations. The E255 Percipient scope helps showcase how not every place is the same, and this long-range scope can be used in most situations. But, at the same time, it’s a long-range scope, players need to fight at a distance with it, however, it can be applied in most situations that need a sniper.
Plus, if players are fighting at night, this scope can light up the area when players are looking through it, making gunplay at night better. On top of that, this scope has one of the fastest aim down sights times in Cyberpunk 2077, which can make sniping with this scope more fun, and easier to do. While players may shy away from sniping in Cyberpunk 2077, this scope makes it more manageable, and in turn, makes them more versatile with how they play. To get this scope, enemies usually drop it in both the Badlands and Night City.
7 XC-10 Strix Silencer
Silencers are great in Cyberpunk 2077 because they allow players to fight in more ways than being loud, it’ll take them longer to do, but will be rewarded with more XP. One of the best things about the game is that it has some pretty good side missions, in some cases, they outshine the main story of Cyberpunk 2077. The Pisces side mission requires players to either kill the Tiger Claw leaders or side with them. If they kill the leaders, it’s easier to do if players can be stealthy about it, this way they can finish the job without alerting anyone. While all silencers lower the damage to weapons, the same applies to the XC-10 Strix, so it’s best for them to sneak up on enemies and one-shot them.
Because that’s the best way to use these attachments is at a closer range since the damage gets better. However, to balance out the damage drop, the XC-10 Strix gets a crit advantage, meaning players have a higher chance of doing a lot of damage at a closer range. To get this silencer, players need to build their Street Cred to 9, which is done by doing side missions, after that most vendors will have it in their inventory.
6 CS-Taipan
Since silencers drop damage to the weapons they’re on, the CS-Taipan acts the same way. But has many benefits, like making players use different ways to fight, and making them be more creative with how they fight. Cyberpunk 2077 has a wide range of bosses, some are harder to take down than others, but what balances it all out, is the silencers. If they chose to run in, taking down these bosses would be harder, since players have to deal with their henchmen as well. However, if players take a quiet route, and this by using silencers, they can effectively take down these harder enemy types.
What players should watch out for, is that the damage is reduced, as mentioned before, forcing them to make their shots count. If players have a stealth build, this silencer will complement it, however, even if they don’t, it’ll still help them more so than other silencers. This silencer is a bare-bones attachment and does exactly what it’s supposed to, so when players fight with it, there won’t be any surprises. Much like the XC-10 Strix silencer, players need to build their Street Cred to level 19, then it’ll be available to players.
5 Hyakume Scope
This scope can work on a range of weapons and since the game is now balanced better, this scope is something that can entice players more. Initially, pre-patch 1.5, the scope was fine, but it didn’t change much of the performance. Since players can put this scope on any pistol or submachine gun it’ll increase the range by a lot, and if the weapon itself has a good range spec, that increases even more, so it’s a good idea for players to have it on at least one weapon.
Because this is a holographic scope, players don’t need to worry about checking their ammo or surroundings since all that information is on-screen for players to quickly look at. On top of that, it has a target identifier that can target up to four enemies at once, which not only helps players get a good understanding of targets but also increases the accuracy of the player. Paired this with the clothing mod “Dead Eye”, which increases the crit shot to 100%, meaning landing them will be more frequent. So, with this scope, it’ll help stack the mod to take down enemies better and faster. The best part about this mod is that it can be bought at any of the vendors or looted from downed enemies, so it’s easy to get this scope for players.
4 E305 Prospecta
Since this scope is for long-range weapons, mainly snipers, players will find that this scope will make using a sniper of their choice will make them deadlier. Increasing zoom by 3.0, the player’s accuracy will heighten even more because of that zoom, and it has an angel finder built-in which changes the sniper performance drastically. Since there are tons of excellent snipers to attach this scope to, it makes their base stats better which makes players even more deadly with snipers.
There are a ton of things that can make this scope great. Making the right build makes it better which those come with cyberwares. Specifically the ones that have to do with the player’s eyes, like “Visual Cortex Support”, which increases crit damage by 90%, also making harder-hitting targets much easier to take down. The E305 Prospecta is good on its own, so players should certainly try it, and getting it isn’t hard either, since it can be found at most vendors. Players can also do a reported crime in The Glen, where it can be found in on top one of buildings in a bag.
3 XC-10 Alecto Muzzle
Players should note that most muzzles in Cyberpunk 2077 slightly bring down the damage to the weapon because it slows down the speed of bullets, but at the same time, most of them have trade-offs that can compensate. If players attach this silencer to one of the better pistols, “Dying Night”, then it’ll be worth it for players, because the base stats of the pistol can compensate for the 15% damage reduction the muzzle gives the gun. However, the XC-10 Alecto increases the damage multiplier by 2.5%, but when players are silenced, which will happen because the muzzle is a silencer, it doesn’t give away the player as other muzzles do.
But that damage multiplier will make players forget about the damage drop because of how much more the player will hit and with the base damage to the “Dying Night” itself and the multiplier, so chances are players may hit higher than the silencer due to the stats that factor in after the fact. Players looking to get this muzzle can simply do the first NCPD scanner hustle for Rancho Coronado for the crime called Assault in Progress, or the 4th crime in Little China called Hidden Gem.
2 Mk.2X Grandstand
This scope is very versatile and can make most weapons range and accuracy better, plus if players can get the jump on enemies with the body perk, “Guerilla”, which gives players a 60% damage increase within the first 10 seconds of the firefight. The Mk.2X Grandstand allows that to happen much more often and with the viewfinder built in, players will be exiting combat much quicker than the enemy can react to them.
If players already have the “Edgerunner Artisans”, which allows players to craft legendary weapons, it makes the stats of the scope even better by adding to the base stats of whatever legendary weapon players have which makes fighting so much easier, especially against higher-leveled enemies. For players who don’t want to spend money on this scope, it can be found at most vendors. But the other option is doing the crime in arroyo called Hidden Gem.
1 RC-7 Strigoi
Typically, shotguns in Cyberpunk 2077 do not have the best aim, yet have deadly damage. They can negatively affect the shotgun performance and that rule still applies to the better shotguns because they require players to be up close to the enemy. However, while they are muzzles that hurt the damage a bit, the RC-7 is quite different because it enhances many weapons, and for shotguns it becomes noticeable.
The ricochet damage has come in handy when players are running and gunning and the chances of getting that damage increases by 10% per shot, so it’s handy. But what makes it better is that it reduces the recoil of the weapon and for shotguns, it’s really helpful because now players can hit the target more and increase the crit damage over time. Getting this muzzle is quite easy, all players need to do is beat the “Shoot to Thrill” side mission which is located in the same mega building as V’s, then can be bought after that.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Stadia.
